Similar to cornmeal, grits are made from dried and ground corn and are a coarser grind.

Tropical Sun Corn Meal is great for homemade cornbread, cornmeal porridge, cornmeal pudding, and a wide variety of other foods.

Generally, Cornmeal is coarse flour ground from dried maize (corn).

It is a common staple food,  especially in the Caribbean and South America and is ground 3 different consistencies such as fine, Coarse and Grits.

Cornmeal Grits

I always order these Cornmeal Grits, being from the USA, and from the south, Cornbread is nearly a staple so these are perfect for a nice pan of Cornbread. Cannot find these in the grocery stores, as the ones in the stores are too fine even if they say; "Course."
